Ralph and Laura McReynolds owned and operated a home care business
for seniors after moving back to Quincy from Colorado. While the care
they provided was well received in the community, the McReynolds found
that very few of their clients were prepared to pay for the amount of
home care they needed. After attending a seminar hosted by John Tripp
and Kent Adams, the McReynolds became interested in learning more about
long term care insurance.
When John Tripp accepted an offer to
join the faculty at Culver Stockton College in 2007, the McReynolds
transitioned out of the home care business and formed a partnership
with Kent Adams. Their perspective as care providers has proven to be
very valuable as they design long term care insurance plans for their
clients.

Kent Adams first discovered long term care insurance while he was
the managing partner of a local insurance company. He realized that a
long term care experience for either him or his wife Teresa could have
a devastating impact on their future.
He became very interested
in comprehensive long term care planning and started his own insurance
firm in order to make available affordable and safe alternatives for
covering escalating long term care costs.
Kent has had
multiple successful careers. He graduated from the University of
Missouri, became an executive with Moorman Manufacturing Company, and
later a partner in the global consulting firms of Brakke Consulting and
KeyStone Partners, which he founded. Kent has been awarded for his
accomplishments in various endeavors, but says that real satisfaction
comes from helping care for people on a personal level.
Kent
and Teresa have two daughters. Erin lives in San Diego and is a
pharmaceutical marketing consultant. Jill lives in San Francisco and is
the executive director of a not-for-profit organization. Erin and Jill
both graduated from the University of Missouri, after which Jill
received her law degree from the University of California School of Law.
